Cards are dealt face-up or face-down in prearranged rounds. The dealer will shuffle and deal each hand, and players will then have the option of calling or raising. If a player suspects that he or she is being bluffed, he or she can raise the bet.
Once the betting round is complete, the player with the highest hand wins the pot. If more than one player remains in the running, more than one round of betting is required. When all but one player has folded, the last player in the game takes the pot.
