Poker is a card game in which players bet chips. Almost always, there are three types of poker chips: white, red, and blue. White chips are worth the least, while reds are worth ten or twenty, and blue chips are worth two, four, or five. Players “buy in” by purchasing chips, usually for the same amount. The best hands in the game win the pot. A hand is considered “complete” when all players have the same number of cards.
To ensure that its players are safe, IDN Poker uses multiple layers of account security to prevent fraudulent activity. The security system consists of a username and password, as well as a six-digit PIN number that must be inputted into an on-screen keyboard. It also uses a time limit for each login session, so players can only log in for a short period of time. If they exceed that time limit, the account will automatically log out.
When betting, the limit of poker chips is set at two, five, or ten. The limit is usually five or ten before the draw, while it’s generally set at ten afterward. It can vary depending on the stage of the game. If the player has a pair, for example, the limit is usually ten. If a player raises, the player’s bets are considered to be high enough to qualify.
