IDNPoker Review – Play Online Poker
Poker is a card game wherein a player attempts to make a winning hand by collecting as many cards as possible. Each betting interval starts with a player betting. Each player then puts in the same number of chips as they had when starting the game. When all players have put in their cards, they must raise their bets in the same manner. If no player raises their bet, then the players in the pot lose their chips.
While IDNPoker does not offer a standalone poker client, it does offer an HTML5 client for desktop computers. This means you don’t need to download any software. In addition to that, their site is fully translated into English. The IDNPoker lobby is uncomplicated with options to choose from cash games, poker tournaments, and stakes. The lobby doesn’t have filters or waiting lists, so players can quickly decide on their preferred game. There are also no waiting lists on IDNPoker, so players can hide from full tables. IDNPoker allows one table per account. Multi-tabling is possible, but you must use different browsers or have separate accounts for each table.
IDNPoker first launched in Cambodia in 2010 but struggled to get any traction in the region. In 2016 it reached number two in the PokerScout ranking. Its success is largely due to its focus on the Asian market and a limited marketing budget in the international market. Although the rooms are completely in English, the site does not promote itself outside of the Asian market. This could be due to a large promotional campaign in Asian countries. It also participates in gaming conferences and charity events in its country.
